Sustainable Life NYE 21

NYE21

download-6-2-1

1. Travel to a Cooler NYE
How about video calling friends & family around the world to see how they party?

If 2020 has taught us anything, it's that we are blessed to have smartphones & laptops. Video calling is a gift + Instagram lives are pretty cool too!

2. Host Virtual Houseparty Games
Get everyone (including that elderly relative who normally celebrates at home) online for Jackbox.tv or your own planned activity.

3. Travel Back to a Tougher Time

As Netflix can remind us, many of the elderly locked down in care homes today once fought for civil rights or even in world wars.

Watch a historic flick & raise your champagne glasses to those who survived, stepped up & also sat out NYE in tough times.

4. Tour this Beautiful Planet
Not into the virtual NYE parties or WW flicks? Why not celebrate with nature & tune into Our Planet on Netflix? Or just about anything narrated by David Attenborough for that matter.

5. Order in... Like Never Before
While ordering to your door seems like an old hat now, try somewhere special. Ending the year with something yummy is always a worthwhile treat.

6. Grab a Hot Drink & Go Out
Take a drive with your loved ones & look at the city view, or simply stargaze. Sip some hot cocoa into the new year.

Fun activity: See if you can find the big and little dippers - it's harder than you may think!

7. Get Grateful
2020 was lame, right? Working from home... spending all this extra time learning how to bake bread & gaining extra pounds? As the grat Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter reference) said, "Happiness can be found in even the darkest of times".

Make a list of 10 things you are grateful for that happened in 2020. Then create a list of 10 goals you would like to achieve in 2021.
